Riyan Parag
Riyan Parag, a former champion with Rajasthan, had his journey in the playoffs cut short by Hyderabad, but he showcased his skills exceptionally well. The 22-year-old Riyan Parag from Assam scored 573 runs at a strike rate of 149 in 16 matches. He played 4 half-century innings and proved to be the match winner on several occasions. Jitesh Sharma, Punjab’s wicketkeeper-batsman at the international level for Team India, also made his mark successfully. Jitesh scored 187 runs at a strike rate of 132, hitting 9 fours and 12 sixes. This also proved that they can perform exceptionally well at the highest level.
Mayank Yadav
Among all these, one genuine pacer stunned the world by bowling at a speed of 156+ km/h. This star’s name is Mayank Yadav. Playing for Delhi but with roots in Bihar, Mayank’s towering height left commentators astounded. Continuously bowling at speeds exceeding 150 km/h, Mayank Yadav also amazed legends like Brett Lee, Dale Steyn, Kevin Pietersen, Harbhajan Singh, and Irfan Pathan. Bowlers from around the world praised him for his 156.7 km/h speed and accurate bowling. Mayank Yadav became a terror for batsmen worldwide. However, Mayank could only play 4 matches. He bowled 12.1 overs, taking 7 wickets with an economy rate of 6.98. Despite Mayank’s injury, the Lucknow team finished 7th in the standings, leaving no doubt for Lucknow and all Indian fans.
